Crestwood Energy and its affiliates have investments in the following companies and funds: Clean Feet Investors I, LLC (CF), Zero6 Clean Energy Assets, Inc. (ZCEA), CleanCapital Holdco I LLC, Will County Energy, LLC (WCE) and Waste to Energy Partners, LLC, d/b/a Bolder Industries.

Bolder Industries

Crestwood Energy affiliates have invested in Bolder Industries, the founder and manager of Maryville Carbon Solutions, a waste tire recycling facility in Maryville, MO that produces Bolder Black, a recycled custom carbon black product usable in multiple industries.

Clean Feet Investors I, LLC

CF is a fund that seeks to provide significant returns from socially responsible investments in small to medium-sized renewable energy and energy conserving projects.  Its investments include BrightFarms (greenhouse fresh producer supplier), Mosaic Power (grid stabilization services), Grean Grid Solar (solar PV leasing), Nextility (solar thermal/hot water and data monitoring projects), Sol Systems (SREC-solar renewable credit aggregation provider), and Stem (a leading provider of energy optimization services, combining big data, predictive analytics, and energy storage to reduce electricity costs for businesses).

Zero6 Clean Energy Assets

ZCEA is a specialized company focused solely on the acquisition and ownership of clean energy assets, including wind, solar, small hydro, combined heat and power, and energy storage solutions.  Crestwood Energy affiliates have invested in the equity and debt of ZCEA to help finance its loan to a portfolio of hydro power assets located in Wisconsin.

CleanCapital

CleanCapital is an owner and operator of solar projects. The investment by affiliates of Crestwood Energy was part of the acquisition of a $21 million portfolio of 15 solar projects in 7 states.

Will County Energy, LLC

WCE is an owner and operator of a landfill gas to electricity project located in Will County, Illinois, south of Chicago, on a landfill owned by Waste Management.

 

Past Investments


Crestwood Energy and its affiliates previously had investments in Carson Cogeneration Company, Rupert Cogeneration Partners, Ltd., Glenns Ferry Cogeneration Partners, Ltd. and Mojave Illinois Holdings, LLC. The parties sold their interests in Carson Cogeneration Company and the other three plants are no longer operating.

Carson Cogeneration

Carson Cogeneration Company, located in Carson, CA, was a 50MW gas fired combined cycle cogeneration plant that began operations in 1990. The plant sold electricity to Souther California Edison (SCE). Carson Cogeneration Company was operated by Energy Operations Group, LLC.

 

Mojave Cogeneration

Mojave Illinois Holdings, LLC (MIH) completed the acquisition of the Mojave cogeneration power plant on August 9, 2011. The plan was operated by Lake Shore Mojave, LLC and was a 55MW, natural-gas fired, combined cycle, cogeneration plant that began commercial operations in July, 1990. MIH and LSM were managed by Lake Shore Energy Operations Group, LLC. Crestwood is the minority owner and Energy Operations Group, LLC is the majority owner. LSM sold power to SCE.

Rupert Cogeneration & Glenns Ferry Cogeneration

Rupert Cogeneration Partners, Ltd. in Rupert, Idaho, and Glenns Ferry Cogeneration Partners Ltd. in Glenns Ferry, Idaho were sister 10 MW natural gas fired combined cycle cogeneration plants that began operations in 1996. Idaho Energy Operations Group, LLC operated the two plants, which sold energy to Idaho Power.

 

Three Rivers Energy

Three Rivers Energy operated a 50MGY nameplate capacity Delta T bio-refinery located near the City of Coshocton, OH, approximately 70 miles Northeast of Columbus, OH. The business was acquired by Three Rivers Energy, a partnership involving Lakeview Energy and Crestwood Biofuels Investors, LLC, in June 2012. Lakeview Energy have been investors in the biofuels industry since 2006 and already own and operate another Delta T bio-refinery in Iowa called Plymouth Energy. Crestwood Biofuels’ parent company Crestwood Energy is involved in co-generation and operates a number of Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plans here in the US. Each of Crestwood Biofuels and Lakeview has a 50% interest in the plant. Lakeview Energy is the managing partner of the business.
